Dagwood's Deli North Myrtle Beach

Dagwood’s Deli (now with three locations) served its first sandwiches in 1988 at the original location on Mr. Joe White Ave in downtown Myrtle Beach.

Named for its jumbo-sized subs and sandwiches, Dagwood’s continues that tradition today; deli meats piled high, with all the extras; the perfect deli sandwich made to order. Current owner, Jonathon Staton, then fresh out of college, originally worked for Dagwood’s.

He ultimately purchased the business in 1998 with grand plans for the Grand Strand. He began in 2003,  opening Bumstead’s Pub in the adjoining room, doubling the size of the restaurant.

 

The Surfside Beach location came next, in 2006, and the North Myrtle Beach location opened in 2022. Regardless of which Dagwood’s you frequent, know that you can always count on a casual sports bar atmosphere, traditional deli sandwiches and Pub Fare, local, regional and international craft beers, friendly staff, your favorite team on the big screen, and great customer service.
